June 2021
We had a lovely stay here, just what we needed, we were looking for out of the way country side, the house was a real home from home with everything you will need for a family. We had two dogs with us and they were made to be very welcome and it was perfect for them too. Jennie was great and all the neighbours who were all very friendly. We were able to have a BBQ and have daughters visit for the weekend and room for us all to have a meal. We walked down to the pub (1.3 miles) which was nice (the road doesn’t have a pavement… given it is the country :) but it is a very quiet road). As advertised this is by a working farm so this does come with what you;d expect next to a working farm and we were more than happy with that. Phone signal was seriously dodgy.. so plan ahead for that and ask people who may need to contact you to WiFi call or whatsapp, just in case of emergencies. The garden was enclosed at the back so ideal for our labradoodles,. All in all a very good stay and would definitely recommend. All kitchen utensils etc well stocked everything you need.. lovely bread and cake left for us from the local bakery which was delicious. Lots of info about the surrounding area, great to walk of cycle from.
